I’ve been waiting years for this feature, literally. Whatsapp just released a new version on Android that includes privacy options. Even better, not only can you hide your status but also your profile picture and/or status to either everyone or people who aren’t on your contact list. Click [here] and download the app from their website directly, because the new version isn’t in the Google Play Store yet.
