Windows Phones Aren’t Outselling iPhone’s in Kuwait

I have no idea who called Microsoft up to tell them their Windows Phones are selling better than iPhones in Kuwait. Microsoft probably added Kuwait as part of the list of countries where their device outsold iPhone’s because no one would notice, “let’s just slip this tiny country in there”. Although Windows Phones are trending in Europe, they’re still doing awfully bad in Kuwait.

Right now they’re at 0.5% market penetration in Kuwait with Android is at the top on 55% and iOS in the middle on 25% according to StatCounter. There’s actually 20 more times people using Symbian OS (old or cheap Nokia phones) than people using Windows Phones. The only person I know that is currently using a Windows Phone is Z District that also has around 9 other phones he loves juggling. [Source].
