You might have already noticed many of your favourite websites and social channels you have accounts with have sent you an email telling you to change your password. That’s because one of the biggest exploits in the world-wide web was discovered. It has a lot to do with OpenSSL, allows hackers to get private information like passwords from websites you use without a trace.
Websites that were effected include Google, Facebook, Instagram, Yahoo, GoDaddy and Dropbox. Changing all your Gmail password is highly recommended. If you know what SSL means then you probably know about this heartbleed bug already.
