Instagram Starts Deleting Accounts

Everyone got a notification today on instagram, it got me excited then disappointed. I thought they were actually going to delete fake accounts as there’s an insane amount of people in Kuwait that have bought followers; companies, organisations, celebrities you name it.

I checked and no massive drop of follower numbers, even on the accounts that so clearly had bought fake followers. They only removed spammers, the type of bots that automatically comment on posts to get more followers. Either way, it’s one step in the correct direction.
