Everyone knows how much fun it is having a cat around the house, the not-so-fun part however is having to wipe the cats poop from the litter box every single day. I really wanted to find a way around this so I did some research, to my pleasant surprise found [this] litter box that automatically puts the poop in a bag for you.
That way instead I only have to throw away the bag every 15 or 20 days and replace it. Unfortunately my relief has been short-lived, as the litter box only worked for a few minutes then suddenly stopped. Considering I paid around KD 50 for a litter box I got really annoyed. Was surprised the shipment cost was KD 28.
The issue was the cable was a 120 voltage while Kuwait supports 220 voltage, so the moment I connected the device it stopped working. Pet Safe, the brand of the litter box offered to send me a new cable for free but I don’t want to wait a week or two for it, checked Ace Hardware and True Value and they didn’t have the same cable.
I post about an update to this litter box after I get it to work and write about if it does actually cleans all the poop without any human help.
