Back when I was in highschool my friends and I would pitch in and get a private tutor for a hard subject. It would cost us around KD 30 or KD 40 for a 2 hour tutor class, according to recent stats students are paying up KD 150 for an hour class today which is insane, that can rank up to a KD 15,000 salary.
What’s worse is some students no longer go to class or focus and study in class because they know they’ll go home and their parents will conveniently hire a private tutor to teach him/her subjects they’re getting bad grades in. “During exam days, families have to put aside more than KD800 to finance the private course”.[Source]
