Man Fined KD 100 for Beating Up Wife

After an argument with his wife, the man hit his wife in the face causing permanent disability on one of her ears. His penalty was a KD 100 fee. Just to open an account and get a check up would cost KD 50 – 70 in private hospitals. Stealing a mobile phone would probably have a harsher penalty.[Source]
